Elizabeth Rand, Inc. began as a hobby when Elizabeth designed jewelry for friends and for herself.  In 1988 she put aside her career as an award winning packaging designer and created a collection of jewelry that turned the hobby into a business.  Elizabeth is focused on quality: quality in design, quality in materials and quality in workmanship.  She designs and carves each model herself so that it has, as they say, “the designer’s hand”.  All the pieces are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside – an attention to detail which is rare to find today.  Bruce, her husband and partner, selects each stone that is used and is known in the industry as a buyer of only the rarest and highest quality material that can be found.

Elizabeth’s collection is inspired by historical ornamentation and nature.  All pieces are 18K gold with a hand brushed finish which ages to a warm patina.  Elizabeth and Bruce take great pride in knowing that every piece they produce is the best it can be and that it will be worn, loved and handed down from generation to generation.
